Borrow from the boys
A disclaimer to clear it out first, I am a regular on asos.com,
but I am always so amazed by Net-a-porter.
I always cannot wait to hear what they will have to say about basic essentials and this season's must-haves.
How their put together outfit ideas through editorial is simply clever and inspiring (the culprit to be blamed for my constantly-growing wishlist).
Their fashion tips are always so stylishly easy (not wallet friendly, obviously).
At the moment, I am really drawn into the concept of Scandi minimal chic, keeping everything monochrome.
The concept is pretty simple and straightforward -
"borrow from the boys with a feminine twist".
-An oversized shirt tugging or half-tugging into bf jeans and pair with pointed toe flats or killer heels to offset the casualness.
-A boxy top, jumper or sweatshirt match it with an a-line skirt to give it a bit of edge.

It all lies in the detail - always show off your ankles with cropped or rolled-up trousers and play with textures to create the balance.
Net-a-porter has injected me another fashion doze in my inbox with this shirt idea.
Loose-fit shirt or blouse are just so versatile to either dress it up or down, depending on accessories and shoes.
A same oversized shirt can be worn for laid-back day-time brunch with girls to evening date with the boy.
Go rummage through your wardrobe,
there's probably one oldie but goodie shirt waiting for you to bring it back to live again.
If not, why not steal one from him?
Dont forget to roll up sleeves and trousers legs!
