City Break

A city break is much much needed if you have been juggling between papers and workout, uni and gym have been the daily destination of yours for awhile.

Although I have managed to give myself a break by hitting the gym hard on a daily basis as well as exploring some of the finest cafes around the city whenever possible, a getaway from the hustle and bustle still seems a luxe to me before the deadline.

When the sense of suffocation is the only sentiment that has been constantly paying a visit to your mind, I am then convinced that only aimless stroll will help you rewind.

Book yourself the train ticket, pack your travel essentials (sunnies, umbrella, and headphones) and you are ready to go. (Credit card and Google map will be your best travel buddies).

I may have accidentally organised myself a trip to Amsterdam in the early September (oops), yesterday I paid a long-due visit to see an old friend of mine in Bristol.
Being completely spontaneous, the only trip info I have looked up was Bristol High Street.
And I vaguely remember that it’s also the hometown of the famous Banksy and there is a suspension bridge.

First stop was the Cabot Tower. If the bird view of the city is what you wish for, the be prepared for the almost-endless stairs that take you to the peak. If you ask, I will guarantee you the breathtaking panorama.

The weather was brilliant (thank god cos we did need the sunbeam for some selfies), perfect to wander around some of the steepest streets in UK (probably). The Clifton Suspension Bridge is only less 20-min walk away from the Tower. Built and linked between two stiff cliffs, little did I expect that the bridge was that stunning.

A day trip to Bristol may or may not seem sufficient, but the mission of relaxation was completed.
